Personal injury & Clinical negligence – Paralegal
The Role
The Personal injury & Clinical negligence team has a fantastic opportunity for a Paralegal to join our department. Experience in clinical negligence will be helpful but not essential. We are looking for either an experienced Paralegal who has worked within a clinical negligence and personal injury department or a post-graduate with a law degree or equivalent who would like to specialise in this area of law.
The successful candidate must have a law degree or equivalent or be a highly experienced Paralegal in this area of law.
The team
We are fortunate – we have a great team of brilliant, dedicated people but this can never be taken for granted. We always need to recruit well and engage and empower our people to excel. Every member of staff is treated fairly and respectfully in an inclusive culture with genuine prospects of merited reward and career progression.
Key experience
This opportunity is ideally suited for a post-graduate law student looking to specialise in this area of law and seeking to do their SQE qualifications or two-year qualifying experience or a senior Paralegal experienced in this area of law and looking to progress their career.
The successful candidate will be expected to assist the fee-earners within the department with the running of their cases and becoming involved at various stages of the claim, undertake their own typing and administrative work, be office based (High Wycombe/Marlow) working standard hours (9 to 5) but available to work additional hours as the work dictates. The successful candidate will be expected to be competent and confident to work with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will be expected to work closely with our team and be a “team player”.
Salary dependant on PQE to be discussed at interview.
