Court of Protection
It can be devastating when a loved one can longer make decisions for themselves.
The Court of Protection is designed to protect the interests of those who can no longer manage their own affairs in relation to their health, welfare, money and property. If they have prepared and registered their Lasting Power of Attorney, this is when their appointed attorney will make important decisions for them.
If a Lasting Power of Attorney or Enduring Power of Attorney has not been registered, then a deputy must be appointed by the Court of Protection.
Our Court of Protection advisors can ensure you have the right framework in place to manage your relatives’ affairs, providing peace of mind and being on hand to help with sympathetic and caring support.
