Every year, we offer training contracts to ambitious graduates eager to advance their careers in law
Our training contracts focus on your individual strengths and ambitions. Our partners will be your mentors, many of whom started their careers with us.
Every trainee is allocated a dedicated training principal and we also operate a ‘buddy’ system, meaning that you will be fully supported. You’ll be joining a supportive peer group where trainees often socialise and share advice.
What do we look for?
As well as an excellent academic record, sound communication skills and analytical ability, we look for talented individuals who have a strong team ethic, ambition and who embrace achievement and diversity. On average we take on 4-5 trainees each year.
How to apply
Applications are now open for our 2025 intake
Following the application deadline, successful candidates will be invited to attend our assessment day. The day includes written, group and individual exercises and interviews with some of our partners. We want to give you ample opportunity to showcase your skills.
Training starts in September with a full induction day to introduce you to the firm. From day one, you are given plenty of responsibility and hands-on experience, with the ongoing support from experienced training supervisors. You can enjoy seats in our corporate services and services for individuals, gaining experience across a broad range of legal disciplines.
